Moryoe Energy & Infrastructure Pty Ltd “MEI” stands as a visionary force in the energy landscape, charting a course towards supporting a more sustainable and resilient future for Southern Africa. As a forward-looking Energy Services Company (ESCO) and a dynamic home-grown Independent Power Producer (IPP), we have carved a unique niche within the Southern African Market.
Our journey began way back in 2013 when our founder successfully developed the first utility scale windfarm in the country on behalf of Eskom and realized that the electrical system structure would evolve from a centralized system to a distributed system with distributed generation primarily based on environmentally friendly technologies and efficient use of scarce energy and water resources and hence the company was established in 2016 upon the founders return after 3 years of being a Managing Director of a nuclear manufacturing company in Europe.
Our ESCO business unit bring innovative energy solutions that transcend traditional boundaries. Our holistic approach encompasses energy, water and waste efficiency. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations, we empower businesses and communities alike to optimize their energy consumption, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
Our Independent Power Producer (IPP) business unit is proudly homegrown and upholds community empowerment at the core of its business model. We are technology & primary agnostic focusing on low carbon generation of electricity to support the sustainable development of the region.
